The exhibition of ahievements of national economy in former soviet union served as a place that all 15 republics displayed their achievements in agriculture, in industry and in science. Each republic had its own pavilion. In the central pavilion 15 signs of the 15 soviet republics are placed on each side of the building. There is also one extra sign which is empty and for some depicts the 16th soviet republic that was considered to be Bulgaria.
