Stolovaya was self-service canteen where the working class was having their breakfast, lunch and dinner in Soviet Union. In USSR these canteens had all of them the same culinary equipment, the same glasses, dishes forks, etc. If you don't mind waiting in line and serving your own food, you should visit a stolovaya.
