I had the chance to visit the 80s exhibition at Technopolis in Athens. A must-to-do in your list if you are Greek or lived in Greece during this decade. If you visit this exciting exhibition be prepared to hear and say the phrases 'Oh, I used to do that', 'I remember it like no time passed', 'Oh, I still have this in a storage somewhere'. You will not be bored
Technopolis
In 1988 Kostas Barotsos builds this sculpture of 8 meters height using only glass, iron and silicone glue. It depicts a runner as if it was sketched in paper with a pencil. Placed initially at Omonia square, one of the busiest streets of Athens back then, it represented the continual movement of people in Athens. Detail from the nostalgic 80s exhibition in Technopolis.
